Lighten Your Load (managing your email inbox)

I deleted my entire inbox on my computer (on purpose) and I can't believe how much lighter I feel (physically AND emotionally) as a result. Sure I filed a few things here and there in separate folders as reference material or as part of an ongoing task, but now every time I turn on my computer I see only the latest arrival emails in my inbox.
Small things weigh you down
I know this might seem a very small matter, but having an ongoing list of emails or items on your to-do list EVERY SINGLE DAY, is exhausting. Often we feel overwhelmed just looking at the (growing) list of emails, let alone getting on with the task at hand.
Delete and release
Now each time I open my email Inbox I feel alive, fresh and exited about the possibilities ahead, rather than burdened by the stuff I have to deal with from last week, last month or even last year.
Clear up old stuff
This is a really simple message... if you have anything that makes you feel overwhelmed when you look at it... Email inbox, messy clothes closet, disorganised home or desk, whatever it is, sort it out for good! You will feel so much lighter and brighter when you do.
When you deal with one area of your life that is weighing you down, you will find it much easier (and more enjoyable) to move on and deal with other areas of your life, whether they be physical, emotional, financial, or whatever.
Lighten your load, you will be sooooooooo glad you did.
